I had a very interesting session the other day and wanted to share the experience with you. My goal in my teachings is to be able to always share the interesting spiritual experiences I have through my own life and those of others. I am starting up a you-tube channel for that purpose, mystik-traveler but more on that later.
My experiences with my clients give me ample opportunity to not only help them grow but also to help me evolve. Sharing their pain and suffering is an integral aspect to helping others grow. It’s like Jesus was quoted as saying, “The truth will set you free”.
The experience I want to blog about today was with a client who has worked diligently over the years on her spiritual growth. She is also an authentic healer (there are a lot who claim to be but are more spiritual tourists than healers). She also pays attention to information the universe provides her and she listens to what her body, mind and spirit both show & tell her. She’s an amazing woman who understands that there is much more to the illusion of planet earth than meets the eye. She understands the reality that planet Earth’s purpose is for the evolution of the soul. She lives and breathes a truly spiritual existence. She has been a seeker of knowledge for most of her life.
I love working with her not only because she is an amazing person but also it helps me to raise my own vibration by listening to the guidance spirit guides gives her. Feeling the energy of the beings that come to help her on her path, brings me indescribable joy. From time to time I do get home sick for the energy of the other dimensions, so working with her is like getting a joy fix!
Jane (not her real name) told me that she felt stuck on her spiritual path and didn’t know what to do next. She was so confused about the next step in her evolution. First off, I love that she asked that question. Who wouldn’t want to know what to do next in their evolutionary process?
Spirits answer to her question was simple, yet profound.
The simple message was….STOP LEARNING AND START DOING !
What did spirit mean? She has been seeking knowledge about herself for years. She is in a constant state of gathering information; a true seeker. She’s gained so much information about herself and how the universe works that she hasn’t taken a break from seeking. They told her she needed to play with her new awareness in order to evolve. She needed to just enjoy the fruits of her labor. They told her that it’s like she has a brand new shiny car and hasn’t taken it for a spin!
Their message to her was that evolution doesn’t come about by just having the knowledge, one must take action to activate it. Knowing something in your mind does not mean you know it, it means someone else knew it and you learned it from them. In order for true evolution to happen, you don’t just need to know the truth but you actually have to live the truth. You can’t journey on the evolutionary path if you never leave the house. They suggested she go play, to go be joyful in existence.
This was a beautiful reminder for me as well. It’s one thing to have the knowledge in your mind, but acting upon and living a daily existence in joy with that knowledge is another.
This message is true for all spiritual seekers. At some point you need to choose joy instead of choosing to feel a need for more spiritual growth. Instead of being worried about your evolution, simply choose to be content with the growth you’ve already achieved. Be joyous every day no matter what’s happening every day. Stop learning and start doing means you start feeling tremendous joy inside no matter what is happening outside. Stop paying attention to the pain life is presenting, and instead just dismiss it and replace it with joy, it’s a choice.
As long as you insist on feeling a need for more spiritual growth, you are sending a message to the universe to manifest more opportunities for said growth. So, in loving fashion the universe sends people or scenarios that require a change in your perspective so you have an opportunity to grow. But if instead you are content and already love yourself enough, there won’t be a need to manifest any difficulty in your life. You may manifest painful scenarios or difficult people but you won’t suffer with them. You will simply understand the opportunity and instantly move out of the pain with no need to suffer. You will immediately rejoice in the opportunity the scenario gave you without suffering.
YOU are the judge and jury about your evolution. If you are happy with where you are then the universe won’t help you to manifest painful scenarios and people in order for you to evolve more. If you are already content with where you are in the evolutionary process, there will be no need to suffer. Pain and suffering ARE the opportunity to evolve, but you get to decide how much more growth you desire. If you are truly happy with where you are in life, there is simply no need to have more painful experiences.
Once you are content, not only will the intensity of the pain be lighter but also the amount of time you are in the pain will shorten. Badda-bang-badda-boom…you’re evolved!
If the whole point in coming to the Earth plane is to evolve to the point of self-love and the realization that we are here to have experiences for God, then you might as well have the experience of self love and joy. No matter what you think you have done wrong up to this point in life, you need to forgive yourself and be free of judgement. Truly realizing that how you feel about yourself is really your choice and not some invisible beings judgement of your actions, will release your own judgement and set you free to experience self-love.
So for at least awhile, take everything you have learned so far in your spiritual evolution and go play with it. Go discover how far you have come in this playground of awakening! Release the need to learn more and instead celebrate how much you have already learned for a change! Hug trees, kiss a cats face, looked a loved one in the eye and smile from your heart, be grateful, thank your worst nemesis, and laugh, laugh, laugh. Know that you are done with spiritual growth, so you can just be friggin happy for a change. In every moment, simply choose to stop learning and start doing!
