Thanks everyone and have a great day.

I know that most of you have heard the expression, “Be in the moment”, but I wonder if you have truly realized its meaning yet. I had heard that expression myself so many times, but it wasn’t until I remembered the experiences of my time in Nepal that I grasped the power of the moment.

As I was climbing the mountains, I tried to stay in the moment, looking around at the beauty. Of course, my mind would wander off to other things, nothing really stressful, but thinking about people in my life. I would gently remind myself that those people were not here, it was God, the mountain and me. That would help to bring me back to the moment. But it wasn’t until I had the realization that the reason I wanted to be in “loving awareness” or “in the moment” wasn’t for me. It was for God. We are all here in order to have experiences for God. When we stay in loving awareness we become the experience for God not for ourselves. We were created to have emotional, mental and physical moments for God, when we miss moments we miss opportunities to give God those experiences. Moments, beauty and gratitude fly by without notice.

As we change our perspective that we are NOT living our lives for ourselves but instead living them for our creator, it changes how we “see” life. It takes us out of our ego, and into our God self. Loving awareness takes away stress because the emotions and pain we feel isn’t ours, it’s God’s. We become observant of the moments for God. God loves all moments, be they joyous or painful. Painful moments lead to emotional knowledge; emotional knowledge is our purpose in being on Earth. Joyous moments lead to God. Every moment of your life can be spent feeling the awareness for God.

Imagine seeing life through God’s eyes. The trees become more powerful, grass becomes greener, skies become bluer, the colors of the flowers become so vibrant they hurt your eyes, and you see everyone you meet as a part of you, and you love them unconditionally. God’s perspective is so much more beautiful than ours. With loving awareness, you love every moment of every day. Every moment is God’s moment, so how can that be bad?

So, today, stop thinking about how angry you are at the boss that yelled at you yesterday and instead focus on the joy of breathing. Stop thinking about how hurt you are by your friend’s betrayal and start feeling the beauty of your environment. Stop thinking about the lack of money in your bank account and start feeling the love your pets have for you. Stop thinking and just be. Be in loving awareness of the moment you are living. Look around wherever you are right now, and just smile. Find something beautiful to smile about. Imagine you are looking through God’s eyes, and be proud of your creation. Just take this moment to BE in loving awareness.
